What We Do
The Teach Them To Fish Foundation principally builds primary schools for orphaned and impoverished children in rural Cambodia and Uganda -- while emphasizing the importance of enabling "at risk" girls to attend school for the first time in their lives, promoting gender equality, and combating trafficking of young girls. Currently, we have two operating schools in Cambodia, two operating schools in Uganda and one temporarily non-operating school in Vietnam, educating more than 2,000 children. Our mid-term goal is to build an additional four schools: two in Cambodia, and two in Uganda, and educate more an additional 2,000 boys and girls. In addition to building primary schools, the Teach Them To Fish Foundation maintains a Disaster Relief Fund .
